I love city life, and am particularly fond of Manhattan.  Though it's not necessarily at its best in late July, New York City will be my destination next week.

My main reason for this visit is to spend some time with a beloved family member who will be passing through town, but I'm also hoping to have some face time with my delightful nonprofit technology colleagues in New York.  In addition to seeing Allan Benamer of SocialMarkets.Org and Keith Taylor of Modest Needs Foundation, I'm hoping to have an informal supper with a few members of the New York 501 Tech Club.

Another thing I'd really love to do is have a chat with the team at NPower New York.  We don't have an NPower Massachusetts, and I don't think that the Massachusetts NPtech Working Group is a substitute for one, but I can't help thinking that the NPower Network could be a tremendous source of wisdom and inspiration for building capacity in the Bay State's nonprofit sector.
