Apparently, the latest thing in the blogosphere is blogtippingbrief reviews of blogs that include both praise and tips for improvement.

My dear old friend and fellow Technobabe, Michelle Murrain, has included Technology for the Nonprofit and Philanthropic Sector in her March foray into blogtipping.

Here's Michelle's tip for me:

Allow non-registered users to comment - I imagine you'd get more comments that way. Also, a minor technological thing - the RSS feed is a bit wonky sometimes (strange formatting, and it's not always clear when there are new items.)

I haven't been able to straighten out the RSS feed yet, but I have made some changes to the way comments are posted to this blog.  Anonymous comments from non-registered users are now permitted.  I've also turned off the annoying feature that requires you to guess at a string of distorted letters and numbers before your comment is published.  As a trade-off, I've turned on the "all comments are moderated" option. This means that life will be easier for those who want to read and comment on my blog, and that the onus will be on me to filter incoming comment spam one piece at a time.  We'll see how it goes.
