Today marks the first anniversary of this blog.
In the last month or more, I haven't posted a single item, and I feel
somewhat remiss.
Somehow, I keep thinking about Oscar Wilde's quip, "Henry James
writes fiction as if it were a painful duty." Blogging should not
be a painful duty for anyone concerned, and while I aspire to get back
on track, I don't want to approach the task with grim determination!
At the moment, all I want to do is to thank the folks who have read my blog in the past year. According to Site Meter, it's been visited 111,268 times, and I'm grateful to everyone who has shown an interest.
