I am much amused to find that
my blog is now a commodity traded on BlogShares.  (BlogShares is a fantasy stock market for weblogs. Players get to invest a fictional $500, and blogs are valued by incoming links.)  Thus far, my only investor is Andy Carvin, director of the Digital Divide Network, who holds 2,500 shares.  I haven't quite worked out all of the allegorical implications of the Digital Divide movement investing in Technology for the Nonprofit/Philanthropic Sector, but I take this as a favorable development.
