I am an avid fan of the Digital Divide Network (DDN), and have been very excited about the recent re-launch of this web site.

One of the appealing features of the new version of this web site is its ability to allow members of DDN to create communities on the site. It's very quick, intuitive, and easy for members to create discussions, blogs, event announcements, and headlines.

Naturally, I cannot resist the temptation to try doing this, so I have just started two Digital Divide Network communities that pertain to interests I hold:

BRIDGING THE NONPROFIT DIGITAL DIVIDE

"For those who are interested in how nonprofit, nongovernmental, grassroots, or other mission-based organizations can use information and communication technologies to increase their effectiveness."

FAITH BASED COMMUNITIES
"For those who are interested in how faith based communities can use information and communication technologies to support their missions."

Please feel free to take a look, sign up, or add content of your own! And in keeping with one of my other current
preoccupations, I will of course point out that RSS feeds from the DDN web site are available.
