The good folks at Third Sector New England asked me to give a workshop on one of my favorite topics:  "Ten things (Just Ten!) that everyone nonprofit executive needs to know about information technology."  If you've visited my blog before, then you know that it's always the first article you see.  I think it's important to offer a first time visitor some practical, jargon-free help, and the basic premise is that any smart and sensible nonprofit professional can participate in strategic technology planning, even if his or her expertise is in
an entirely different field.

At any rate, we offered the workshop on Tuesday, and on this occasion I decided to hand the attendees a short short list of online resources for nonprofit professionals who are facing the task of strategic planning.  You can find it at the TSNE web site, or download it here.

I also maintain a lengthy annotated list of resources on my blog but my purpose in this workshop was to offer something that was brief and not scary.  Please feel free to take a look at it or to make use of it.
